After a long Friday night out, I felt like I was hit by a tractor on Saturday morning... until Plow. It turned very dark thoughts and dismal day plans into a nice little Saturday (a la Will Ferrell). I've read a ton of reviews about Plow being one of the best brunches in the city, but I'm certain it's the best brunch I've ever had.
Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - I'm not the biggest breakfast person and I only like to eat pancakes about once a year, but I could have these every day. They were lemon breakfast dessert clouds of yumminess.
Crispy Potatoes - The kind of homefries that are cooked in some sort of wonderful fat. There were pieces of all sizes, but my favorite were the really small crispies that were like shavings of salty fried butter.
The Plow - One of the people I was eating with said it best, "They took all the best parts of breakfast and put it on a humungous plate." Sausage, bacon, eggs, crispy potatoes, lemon ricotta pancakes... the works.
Music - It was early in the morning, I had a headache, I did not want to listen to clubby Top 40. Would have loved some quieter electronic music or soothing jamz. Get outta here Pitbull!
