My best friend, Lizzie, is in town this weekend from Austin. She brought her boyfriend who has never been to California and wanted to eat at the Wharf. Every city has their touristy part that people who live there don't go to, and Fisherman's Wharf is that for SF. I was complaining about eating there, but was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the cioppino was! I usually don't eat soups on warm days (like today) and I usually don't choose to head to the Wharf, but everything about lunch today was lovely... especially the Lizzie part. :)
Cioppino - The cioppino was classic with a bold tomato broth and an assortment of fish. The crab legs were the best part, but each bite regardless of what fish was in it (or even if it was just broth and bread) was tasty.
