feasting all over the world.

This restaurant was a great late night option after the Second City improv show. Our bellies were hungry from laughing and these hearty dishes soothed it deliciously and quickly. There were a lot of appetizer options, small pasta plates and drinks. Their house wine is only $4 a glass, so you could come here for a toast and glass of wine on a budget!
Toast with foie gras, grainy mustard, parsley and pickles - Delicate combination of fat, sour and spice. YUM!
Orchiette with ground pork - A very Dan dish - porky and spicy.
Fava bean, farro, feta cheese and free herbs salad - This is something light and summery that I'm going to recreate for myself at work for lunch so
Toast with country ham, burrata and tomato/pepper/onion sauce - It looked really pretty (featured in picture), but the taste fell flat compared to the foie gras toast.
