For our last night in Southern California, we stayed in Brentwood at our friend's apartment. Brentwood is a cute LA area with lots of Italian eateries. Pecorino had brick walls, low lighting and authentic Italian dishes... and waitstaff. Our server was an adorable twentysomething Italian guy with a high-pitched, heavy accent. We had him explain the specials four times (hehe).
Spaghetti with Lobster - Pieces of fresh lobster in a light garlic sauce with parsley. I wish the lobster pieces would have been bigger, but the dish was so yummy.
Prosciutto with Fig Special - Pretty waves of meat with sweet, roasted figs.
Lobster Ravioli Special - My friend, Rod, got it for his main course and I was jealous. They were the cinched in the middle style and golden brown color of Chinese potstickers.
Burrata - The burrata wasn't as soft as I usually like. It was also paired with marinated peppers that didn't make sense with the meal.
